The Kappa3715Ard is an evaluation board for the IS3715 I2C DMX Controller chip. It allows engineers to evaluate the IS3715 without soldering or building a prototype, providing a ready-to-use solution. The board includes 3x sliders to make it easy to modify the DMX values.
Designed as a shield with the Arduino form factor, the Kappa3715Ard leverages its widespread popularity and ensures compatibility with various microcontroller boards, including STM32 Nucleo Boards and others. It features an XLR-3 connector for seamless integration into DMX equipment.
The IS3715 is an ideal solution for generating the DMX protocol via I2C, reducing CPU load, and eliminating the need for dedicated pins. It supports all 512 DMX channels.
