The Kappa3720Ard is an evaluation board for the IS3720 I2C DMX+RDM Receiver chip. It allows engineers to evaluate the IS3720 without soldering or building a prototype, providing a ready-to-use solution. The board includes an RGB LED to simulate a DMX PAR light.

Designed as a shield with the Arduino form factor, the Kappa3720Ard leverages its widespread popularity and ensures compatibility with various microcontroller boards, including STM32 Nucleo Boards and others. It features two daisy-chained XLR-3 connectors for seamless integration into DMX equipment.

The IS3720 is an ideal solution for receiving the DMX and RDM protocol via I2C, reducing CPU load, and eliminating the need for dedicated pins. It supports all 512 DMX channels.
